There are more and more foldable devices, those that, when unfolded, give a solid tablet intended to fit folded in the most petite pocket of jeans. And their unfolding provides the user with the look of a standard smartphone, albeit with something different and elongated aspect ratio.
And so, one by one, all major mobile phone manufacturers are gradually presenting their foldable devices to the public in two currently available variants. Vertical flip phones turn into tablets, while horizontal flip phones are easily stored in pockets. Now, it seems that the company OPPO will soon be able to offer both such models to the public.
At the end of 2020, the company OPPO presented to the public its concept of a folding mobile device called Find X. Although at that time only a demonstration of what this company was capable of, the folding mobile phone named OPPO Find N appeared in front of the audience at the end of last year.
When publishing this device, the company’s leaders admitted that it took them five years to develop one such device. They certainly succeeded in that, both in the reviewers’ words and in terms of a small number of users. As it turns out, this was just the beginning of OPPO’s folding adventure.
According to the well-known leaker Digital Chat Station, the new foldable mobile phone from OPPO will be in the style of the Motorola RAZRi Samsung Galaxy Z Flip device. So, horizontal folding. According to this liqueur, this mobile device should have a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1+ chipset, while the price should be just over a thousand dollars, writes GizChina.
At this moment, nothing more is known than information about what such a device could bring to the public. Also, it is not known when such a device could appear in front of the same audience. The price and the processor don’t mean much, but we do not doubt that, in time, the first photos of the new folding device from OPPO will appear. Until then, we have to be patient.
