It is stated that the first device, which will run the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1+ chip, will be released in China. However, it has not been announced which phone will be the first to receive this chipset. Early speculation mentions that it could be the OnePlus 10 Ultra, but this phone could also use the Dimensity 9000 or the current Snapdragon 8 Gen 1.
The Snapdragon 8 Gen 1+ chip will be based on TSMC’s 4nm manufacturing process and will most likely be very similar to the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 model, but with slightly higher clock speeds.
Rumors suggest that Qualcomm will introduce the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1+ chipset in May.
