The latest research by the analytical company Counterpoint shows that Apple is currently the leading manufacturer of premium/flagship phones in the world.
According to the research, Apple has even surpassed Chinese brands in China, and the company is the strongest phone brand in the world, including the growing Indian market.
After Apple, Samsung holds second place in most markets, including the United States, Europe, and Latin America. OnePlus is the second premium phone manufacturer in the Indian market. The same company is fourth in North America and fifth in Europe.
Premium phones are considered to be models with a price above $400. Apple currently holds 60 percent of the market for 2021, up 5% from a year earlier.
In addition to Apple, other manufacturers have at least maintained their market share, except for Huawei, which recorded a big drop.
The complete premium phone market achieved an increase in participation, with an annual growth of 24 percent. Of the 100 phones sold during 2021, 27 were premium models, priced above $400.
