The Mac Pro with the M2 Extreme chip is expected next year

Although Apple was initially expected to introduce the new Mac Pro later this year, the device seems to have been postponed to 2023.

According to analyst and journalist Mark Gurman, the refreshed Apple Mac Pro could use the M2 Extreme chipset (a name the analyst believes the chip will carry). During its Peek Performance presentation last week, Apple mentioned that the M1 Ultra will be the company’s latest chip from the M1 series.

According to him, Apple will use more M1 Ultra chips in the Mac Pro, or as Gourmet claims it will be the M2 Extreme. Also, it is believed that this is one of the reasons why Apple postponed the release of the Mac Pro for 2023.
