The digital economy is developing rapidly, and it is projected that more than 50 percent of global GDP will be digitized this year, while the augmented reality market will generate $ 1.5 trillion in this area by 2030. The two most current topics that will affect the ICT industry in the future are carbon reduction and digitalization, Huawei said in a speech at the annual World Meeting of Mobile Industry Representatives MWC in Barcelona 2022.
According to Guo Ping, president of Huawei, the results of the study showed that only detailed monitoring of global environmental data could generate carbon emissions equal to 12.5 percent of today’s total emissions.
