Until the beginning of this month, Samsung has been working intensively on upgrading the latest One UI 4.1, based on Android 12, to its Galaxy phones. This month, the company slowed significantly with upgrades, but today it arrives on another Galaxy phone from the mid-range Galaxy A series. It is a Samsung Galaxy A31 phone.
Galaxy A31 Android 12
The Samsung Galaxy A31 was introduced in March 2021 with Android 10 and One UI 2.0. A year ago, the phone received an upgrade to Android 11 and One UI 3.1, which was its first major Android upgrade. Now the phone is receiving another big and the latest Android update – Android 12 and One UI 4.1.
Sammobile reports that the upgrade is currently available to users of this phone in Russia, but it is expected to be extended to other countries.
Android 12 and One UI 4.1 upgrade for Samsung Galaxy A31 come with firmware number A315FXXU1DVD8 and include a security patch for the fourth month of 2022, fixing over 80 security vulnerabilities.

One UI 4.1 features
The One UI 4.1 upgrade includes various features such as Google Duo Live Sharing, smart widgets, and improved color palettes and portrait photos in low light. In addition, the upgrade will offer a way to share Wi-Fi passwords via Quick Share.
There’s also the ability to share photos and videos with multiple friends via a single link, and photos shared via the Quick Share feature show your photo editing history. The Samsung keyboard has also been upgraded, while Bixby Routines now can automatically change the look of the watch and other settings on the Samsung Galaxy Watch 4.
