ZTE Axon 40 Ultra will be unveiled on May 9 in China, and on the eve of the launch, the Chinese manufacturer published several posters to present its design. In addition, the device appeared in the database of the TENAA certification platform with all the main specifications.

A render of the Axona 40 Ultra was recently spotted on China’s Pinduoduo retail website. He gave a good look at the design of the smartphone. Now the company has released fresh renderings to present its design. Axon 40 Ultra comes in two colors: black and gray.
The front of the Axon 40 Ultra has a curved edge screen with thin bezels at the top and bottom. The screen looks impressive as there is no cutout for the selfie camera. As is known, the device will be equipped with a selfie camera below the screen.

Axon 40 Ultra on the TENAA listing states that it has a 6.8-inch OLED panel that offers a resolution of 2480 x 1116 pixels. It is not clear whether the phone will have support for higher refresh rates. The screen will also be installed with a fingerprint scanner on/under the screen.
Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 will run the Axon 40 Ultra. The TENAA listing further states that Axon 40 will come with up to 16 GB of RAM and up to 1 TB of internal memory. It will run on Android 12 OS, which will be covered by the latest version of the MiFavor user interface.
The Axon 40 Ultra will have a selfie camera below the 16-megapixel screen. The device’s back panel has a triple camera of 64 megapixels + 64 megapixels + 64 megapixels. According to other reports, the device has a 4,900 mAh battery (nominal value) that apparently supports a fast charge of 66 W. It also has an IR blaster, stereo speakers, and a linear X-axis motor. The device’s thickness is 8.41 mm, and the weight is 204 grams.
