Several streamer influencers shared information about this announcement on YouTube, and many of them were pleased with the new content monetization tool on the service.

The gift subscription has been one of the more popular features the Twitch streaming platform offers for a long time. Many streamers see subscriptions as an easy way to generate revenue while helping to build community.

Typically, fans pay $4.99 a month for channel membership, giving them access to their favorite creators’ badges, emojis, and other exclusive content.

YouTube Gaming has some other features similar to those offered by Twitch, and among them is Live Redirects, which allows streamers to send fans to different streams or premieres.
