Xiaomi has officially unveiled the design of the Xiaomi Civi 1S. A short video teaser and promotional renderings suggest that the device will look identical to the original Xiaomi Civi.
The phone will contain a rectangular rear camera bump. The sensors will be placed in a triangular manner with a large primary sensor at the top and two secondary sensors below it.
The back panel of the phone will have a shiny finish and the frame will be made of metal. Finally, it will also keep the curved screen from the original model.

First of all, the phone will boast a 6.55-inch LTPO AMOLED panel with a refresh rate of up to 120Hz. The screen will have a resolution of FHD + and a centrically positioned hole for a selfie camera.

Furthermore, it will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G Plus SoC paired with 8GB / 12GB of RAM and 128GB / 256GB of storage. By comparison, the original Xiaomi Civi has a non-LTPO AMOLED display and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G chipset.
Xiaomi Civi 1S Camera
The cameras will still be slightly different than the original, so the newer model should come with a 32MP Sony IMX616 selfie camera instead of a 32MP Samsung ISOCELL GD1 sensor.
The rear camera system will include a 2 MP monochrome sensor instead of a 2 MP macro. The setup will consist of a 64 MP Samsung ISOCELL GW3 primary sensor with OIS and an ultra-wide Sony IMX355 of 8 MP. The original Xiaomi Civi does not come with OIS.

Although the upcoming smartphone will be supported by the same 4500 mAh battery as the older model, it could have support for 67W fast charging instead of 55W fast charging.
In terms of software, the Xiaomi Civi 1S will launch MIUI 13 based on Android 12 out of the box. While the original Xiaomi Civi debuted with MIUI 12.5 based on Android 11 and was updated on MIUI 12.5 Enhanced Edition and MIUI 13 based on Android 12.
