Sources suggest that the South Korean company could start testing in open beta by July. This should give both testers and companies enough time to polish new firmware for public release in late 2022 or early 2023.
A large number of Galaxy devices (phones and tablets) are eligible for the upcoming public Android 13 and One UI 5.0 update, after coming out of beta. As usual, newer and more powerful devices will have an advantage, and it is expected that the first Galaxy phones to get Android 13 will be the S22 series, Galaxy Z Fold 4, and Flip 4.
It should be noted that Samsung is developing One UI 5.0 and its UI 4.1.1 for its upcoming flexible phones, but it is expected that this version of the software will be available for only a few devices.
