Over the past few weeks, two monitors have appeared on Chinese retail sites, listing the “DisplayHDR 2000” logo. The assumption was that a higher HDR level was added by the VESA HDR certification program, but this logo turned out to be fake.
In an official announcement, VESA confirms that “DisplayHDR 2000” certification does not yet exist, and that DisplayHDR 1000 is still the highest level available. The logo used to advertise these monitors in retail is also fake.

VESA publicly lists all its certified monitors, and the currently upgraded Samsung Odyssey G9 and 49-inch Acer Mini LED monitor is not on the list of certified with DisplayHDR 2000 support, because this certification does not exist.
