In late 2021, Xiaomi launched its flagship Xiaomi 12 series in China. The series consisted of Xiaomi 12, 12 Pro, and 12X. After the presentation of the mentioned models, the question was when the Lite and Ultra versions would arrive, and now it seems that one of them is ready for presentation.
The images appeared on the Chinese social network Weibo, and they reportedly reveal the new Xiaomi 12 Lite 5G.
Looking at these pictures, the smartphone seems to have a large primary camera and two smaller cameras along with an LED flash on the rectangular camera module (a characteristic design of the Xiaomi 12 series). As you can see on the camera module it says 108 MP, but unfortunately, that’s all we know about the main sensor.
Xiaomi 12 Lite 5G specifications (rumors)
There has been a lot of talk about this device through rumors, so it is assumed that the Xiaomi 12 Lite 5G will have a 6.55-inch Full HD + AMOLED screen with a refresh rate of 120 Hz. Under the hood of the device will most likely be a Snapdragon 778G SoC paired with up to 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage, and as revealed by FCC certification, the device is likely to come in three configurations – 6GB + 128GB, 8GB + 128G and 8GB + 256GB.
As for the cameras, it was assumed that the Xiaomi 12 Lite 5G will arrive with a 64 MP main camera with OIS support, but in these photos, we can see that this will not be the case, but that the device will have a 108 MP sensor (it is not known whether have OIS). As for the other cameras, they are probably 8 MP wide-angle and 5 MP macro. There will be a 16 MP sensor on the front of the device.
