Capcom has announced that Resident Evil fans will have the opportunity to try out a time-limited demo for Resident Evil Village on May 1st and 2nd on all platforms. This will allow gamers to try out the game before its official announcement on May 7th.
- Age of Empires IV arrives this year (video)
- AMD Radeon RX 6900 XT Review (with benchmark)
- First Alienware laptop since 2007
The demo will be available for PC (via Steam), Stadio, Xbox One, Xbox Series X / S, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5. Players on Sony consoles will have early access to the demo on April 17 and 18, 24 and 25, respectively.
Like other newer Resident Evil games, Village uses Capcom’s RE Engine, with it being upgraded since the release of the Resident Evil 3 remake.
On current-generation PCs and consoles, Resident Evil Village will support hardware-accelerated ray tracing.
