While the Redmi Note 11 series is recording great sales results, a new Redmi Note 12 teaser has been released. The teaser does not contain any specific information, nor does it even confirm that it is really a Note 12.
Some even think that it is actually a Redmi Note 11T, but considering the number of already existing models, the probability is on the side of the name Note 12.
If you’re wondering what this teaser means at all, Redmi CEO Lu Weibing wrote on his Weibo profile that since last year, the Redmi Note series has introduced a two-generation strategy a year. One generation is the one focused on performance (probably thinking of the Redmi Note 10 series) and the other is focused on the versatile experience (and here on the Redmi Note 11 series). So users can choose according to their different needs.
He also said that the upcoming device will have twice the performance of last year’s Redmi Note 10 Pro, after which he asked his followers what they would like this device to be called, and the comment to which Lu Weibing responded was also the one with the most likes. and the commenter wants the device to be called the Redmi Note 11T.
It was said that the performance would be twice as good. The Redmi Note 11 Pro is only a slight improvement over the Redmi Note 10 Pro, so the Redmi Note 12 (11T) will be a leap of actually two generations.
By the way, the Redmi Note 10 Pro (Chinese version) comes with the MediaTek Dimensity 1100 with 6 to 8GB of RAM options, whether that means the 12 Pro (11T) will arrive with the Dimensity 8000 or maybe even 9000, unfortunately, we don’t know yet.
But what we do know is that Redmi needs a new model that will completely destroy the competition, as the mid-range phone market is more competitive than ever.
