This sensor could make its debut on Xiaomi’s next flagship phone, the Xiaomi 12 Ultra. In addition to this sensor, the Xiaomi 12 Ultra should also have a 48 MP ultra-wide sensor and a 48 MP 5x telephoto sensor, while data on the fourth sensor is not known. There has been talking about this phone for some time, but Xiaomi has not yet announced when it will be introduced.

Thus, information emerged that Xiaomi could also cooperate with the well-known German company Leica regarding Xiaomi 12 Ultra cameras, but it is not known how much that cooperation will be. It is possible that the Xiaomi 12 Ultra will only use some Leica filters, or that this is the kind of cooperation that Huawei has with the German company, in the sense that Leica dictates the photographic capabilities of the phone.
