Samsung is stepping up efforts to attract more iPhone users to its side. The company has launched a new site, called iTest, which allows iPhone users to experience the Samsung experience via a web application that simulates the Android ecosystem.
When a user visits Samsung’s iTest website, they will be prompted to add a web application to the home screen of their iPhone. After this, the application can be launched like any other and try out the Android interface.
The experience is quite impressive and shows very well the Android and Samsung Galaxy experience via a web application running on the iPhone. It is possible to search the Galaxy Store, change themes, explore the Samsung Camera app, and more.

While you’re in the Samsung iTest app on your iPhone, you’ll also get various simulations of text notifications and phone calls to try out different situations and ways to communicate with friends. Of course, Samsung also used the opportunity to promote other products, such as Galaxy Buds Pro, Galaxy Watch3, and Galaxy Buds Live.
As expected, this web experience also has some drawbacks, such as technical limitations for web applications, and many applications only allow you to see the home screen. In addition, the iTest experience is only being promoted in New Zealand at the moment, but the site is available globally.
