A few weeks ago it was announced that MIUI 13 will soon arrive on the Poco F2 Pro. And now the global MIUI 13 update has finally and officially been released. I believe this news will delight all owners of this device (as well as me) as the latest update to MIUI 12.5.5 has brought a couple of very irritating issues.
I believe that the most irritating thing for you (as well as for me) was freezing and crashing Instagram and Facebook applications. (If you have had any worse experiences, write in the comments)
The MIUI 13 update was previously published for the EEA (European Union) but is now finally available globally. As for the changes, it is the main alleged system optimization and correction of known errors.
Also, the MIUI 13 on the Poco F2 Pro brings Android 12 and a new Android security patch and comes with a V13.0.1.0.SJKMIXM build number, and as far as the changelog is concerned it is as poor as other devices.
So Xiaomi says the MIUI 13 on the Poco F2 Pro will bring: the aforementioned stable MIUI based on Android 12 and a security patch from March, the ability to quickly open apps using the sidebar, better support, and system optimization making it faster and smoother.
The size of this update is 3.3 GB, but it is currently only available to Mi Pilots, and if they do not find some critical bugs, the update will soon be available to all users. Of course, when the update is over, the Mi Pilot program will not be available to everyone at once but will be released in series as an additional precaution.
By the way, Poco F2 Pro is one of the most affordable devices released with the Snapdragon 865 chipset and so far it has not had any serious problems (except for the annoying ones with the last update) we hope that there will be no problems with MIUI 13 update.
Another bad news is that MIUI 13 and Android 12 are the latest major updates for this model.
