Huawei is expected to unveil its P50 series in June, which will use Harmony OS 2.0 software from the start. While we’ve already had a chance to see renders for the Huawei P50 and Huawei P50 Pro, which show two large camera lenses – now photos have surfaced suggesting a different design.

According to an unnamed source, the phone from the photos is part of the new P series, and judging by the curved edges, it is probably the P50 Pro. However, the camera system on the back lacks a periscope lens, which means it could be a standard Huawei P50.

Of course, there is always the possibility that these are fake photos. Also, the camera module is reminiscent of the one in the Mate 30 series, which would be unusual for Huawei, because the company invests a lot in the look of its devices and probably did not decide to recycle the old design.

It remains to be seen whether the photos show any earlier prototypes of the Huawei P50 phone, or whether the device will retain some of the visible design elements.
