Nvidia announced in September last year that it had reached an agreement to buy ARM for $ 40 billion. A number of companies have expressed their concern and resentment over this, and regulatory bodies are already investigating the terms of the agreement.
However, Nvidia believes that the acquisition will be completed in the planned period.

Jensen Huang, CEO of Nvidia, said during the GTC 2021 event:
“I am confident that regulators will see the wisdom of this transaction. It will enable a wave of innovation. It will create new market options. It will allow ARM to expand into markets that are otherwise difficult to reach.”.
One of the areas in which ARM already benefits from partnering with Nvidia is Artificial Intelligence. AI and Nvidia’s accelerated processing technology are now available for the ARM platform.
Nvidia planned for the agreement on the acquisition of ARM to be completed in 2022, and it is confident that the acquisition will be approved within the planned timeframe.
