When Carl Pei left design and marketing oversight at OnePlus to start his own company called Nothing, we had the opportunity to follow hints of new products to create excitement for what’s to come from this manufacturer, including the new phone.

We didn’t know what would be found on the first phone, called Nothing Phone (1). Now, the device’s specifications have appeared online, and an insight into the characteristics of the phone is given to us by Ragvendra’s singer Sing Jodan on Twitter.

To his knowledge, Nothing Phone (1) will have a 6.43-inch FullHD + AMOLED display, with support for 90Hz screen refresh and HDR10 +. A Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G chipset will power it with an Adreno 642 GPU. 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage will be available.

A three-camera system is expected on the back of the Nothing Phone (1), which will consist of a 50MP primary sensor and two additional sensors (8MP and 2MP). There will be a 32MP selfie camera on the front.

Everything will be powered by a 4500mAh battery with wireless charging support. The operating system will be Android 12, with a NothingOS user interface.

A few months ago, Carl Pei hinted that Nothing Phone (1) would probably be introduced during the summer of this year, when we will find out other details, including the phone’s price.
