Apple is expected to introduce the iPhone 14 series sometime in September and so far, rumors have hinted that the iPhone 14 series will partially get rid of the notch (only Pro and Pro Max models), while the base and Max models will keep the notch, as confirmed by the image transmitted by @SaranByte, which allegedly shows iPhone 14 series display panels.

As can be seen in the leaked image, the iPhone 14 series includes four models. These are:

  • iPhone 14,
  • iPhone 14 Pro,
  • iPhone 14 Max, and
  • iPhone 14 Pro Max.

The picture confirms what we have already said, ie that the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max will have “holes” for Face ID sensors and a front camera. Rumors mention that the base and Pro models will have a 6.1-inch OLED screen, while the Max and Pro Max will have a 6.7-inch OLED screen.

The aforementioned Twitter user claims that the upcoming iPhone 14 Pro models will have thinner frames (according to earlier rumors). In addition, Pro models will have a higher aspect ratio (assumed to be 19.5: 9 – 20: 9).

Recent reports have revealed that the iPhone 14 series will be equipped with an upgraded front camera, which will come with support for autofocus with an aperture of f/1.9. And it is also mentioned that the main camera could be a 48 MP sensor, but it is not yet clear whether it will reach all models or only the Pro versions.

It is speculated that the iPhone 14 and 14 Max will feature an Apple A15 Bionic chip and LPDDR4x RAM, while the iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max will get a brand new Apple A16 Bionic chipset and LPDDR5 RAM. All four models will likely have 6GB of RAM.
