Meta continues to update Instagram and Instagram Reels with more features similar to TikTok. And as published in last week’s report on the work of the platform, features similar to those on TikTok (Instagram Reels) account for more than 20% of the time users spend on Instagram.

Now the company is testing a new feature that makes the home page almost identical to the one on TikTok – so it takes you directly to Instagram Reels, and the reason for this change is the desire to make videos the center of the platform.

According to TechCrunch, users testing this new type of app can still go back to that traditional look and access the lower navigation bar detection command. Abolishing stories would not make much sense, as they have proven to be very successful, but as we said, everything is still in the testing phase and everything can still change.
