The Matebook X Pro 2022 brings a 14.2-inch IPS LCD touchscreen with a resolution of 3120 x 2080 pixels, a refresh rate of 90 Hz, and an aspect ratio of 3: 2. Huawei says this is the best panel ever mounted on a laptop. It can produce 500 nits and covers the entire spectrum of P3 colors. The top frame is only 6 mm thin and has an integrated HD webcam. The laptop has a metal construction and weighs only 1.38 kg. It is 15.5 mm at its thickest point. Huawei has also equipped a laptop with six speakers.

Intel’s 11-gen Rocket Lake chipsets are the basis, along with the Iris Xe integrated GPU. You get 16 GB of LPDDR4x RAM and up to 1TB M2 SSD. The cooling system consists of three air inlets, dual fans, and WC modules for heat dissipation. There are also four USB-C ports (two USB 3.2) and a headphone jack. The laptop comes with a 90W GaN USB-C charger that weighs only 180 grams.

The MateBook E supports Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.1 connectivity. It also has a 42Wh battery that charges to 65W via the included charger. You get four speakers and four microphones, as well as support for the second-generation Huawei M-Pencil pen.
