Last week, Huawei launched two products: Mate Xs 2 and Huawei Band 7, but only in the Chinese market, where it operates the most.
A new report shows that Huawei Band 7 will have support for downloading and installing third-party apps on the device. But there is no information on which or how many third-party apps.
Huawei Band 7 specs
Huawei Band 7 has a 1.47-inch AMOLED screen that supports a screen resolution of 194 x 368 pixels. Thanks to the AMOLED panel, the device offers an Always-On display feature that allows access to the watch without consuming much energy.
This smart band by Huawei, has 96 sports modes, including swimming, in terms of health and fitness-related features. It can track the number of calories a user has burned during exercise and sports activities.
It comes with multiple sensors such as:
- an accelerometer,
- gyro sensor, and
- heart rate sensor.
- It also contains a SpO2 sensor that can help users detect signs of sleep apnea by monitoring blood oxygen levels during sleep.
The device has 5ATM protection, which means that it can withstand user diving for about 50 meters underwater. As for battery life, the company claims that with a full charge, the Huawei Band 7 will last up to 14 days.
