Here’s how to do it, based on Apple’s latest instructions:

Step-by-Step: Record Your iPhone Screen
1. Add Screen Recording to Control Center
Before you can start recording, ensure the screen recording option is in your Control Center:
- Swipe down from the top-right corner of the screen to open Control Center.
- Touch and hold the background of the screen, then tap Add a Control.
- In the controls gallery, tap the Screen Recording button to add it to Control Center.
- Tap anywhere on the screen to return to Control Center.
Note: Once you’ve added the screen recording control, you don’t need to add it again for future recordings.
2. Start Recording
- Open Control Center.
- Tap the Screen Recording button.
- Wait for the 3-second countdown to start recording.
Optional: To record your voice, touch and hold the Screen Recording button, then tap Microphone On before starting the recording.
3. Stop Recording
- Tap the red status bar at the top of the screen, then tap Stop.
- Alternatively, open Control Center and tap the red Screen Recording button.
Your screen recording is automatically saved to your Photos app.
Access and Manage Your Recordings
- Open the Photos app.
- Tap Albums, then scroll down to Media Types.
- Tap Screen Recordings to view all your recordings.
Things to Keep in Mind
- Some apps might not allow you to record audio or video.
- You can’t record your screen and use screen mirroring at the same time.
