GTA+ is a new subscription service for Grand Theft Auto – GTA Online, available only on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series S / X. Those who pay a GTA+ monthly fee of $5.99 per month – will receive in-game currency to spend on open-world game development, along with exclusive features, vehicle upgrades, member-only discounts, and other benefits. Rockstar Games has also announced that GTA + members can also get access to unlock older game updates or previously restricted in-game content.
In a statement Friday, Rockstar Games said the new GTA + membership program will be available from Tuesday, March 29. Players will need to have a copy of GTA 5 or GTA Online to access GTA+.
In addition, Rockstar Games has revealed the benefits for the first month of GTA+ membership, which will run from March 29 to April 27.
Starting Tuesday, GTA+ members will receive GTA $500,000 (in-game currency) delivered to their Maze Bank account each month, as well as a threefold increase in GTA $ and RP received from Hao’s Special Works Race Series. Subscribers will not have to pay a membership fee for LS Car Meet, and players who have already paid will be refunded $ 50,000 GTA, according to Rockstar Games. GTA+ members can also purchase Shark cards with an additional in-game cash bonus that is only available to members through the Xbox Store and PlayStation Store.
Players who subscribe to GTA+ will also receive a free upgrade to Hao’s Special Works before the general public can purchase it, along with HSV Orange Trip and HSV CMYK Glitch Liveries. Meanwhile, Auto Shop owners can move to La Mesa with a series of updates from Los Santos Tuners – at no extra cost, with a GTA+ subscription.
Cosmetics such as Gusset Frog Tee and Broker Prolapse Basketball Top and Shorts will automatically be added to players’ wardrobes when they subscribe to GTA+. Conveyor Livery for Mammoth Avenger, HVY APC, and TM-02 Khanjali will be available from Tuesday. GTA+ will also provide subscribers with a choice of free colors and emblems from the Auto Shop. In the meantime, yacht owners can upgrade to the Aquarius Super Yacht for free with a GTA+ subscription.
The GTA Online subscription will also bring exclusive prizes – similar to those mentioned above, for the open-world game each month. Players can visit Legendary Motorsport, Hao’s Special Works, Maze Bank Foreclosures, and DockTease in the GTA Online web browser. However, each of these benefits has an expiration date, so players will need to claim them before the next set of prizes arrives. Think of it as free games offered under PlayStation Plus. Players who do not want to subscribe will still have access to regular GTA Online events.
