During the Google I/O conference, Sundar Pichai presented a demo of augmented reality glasses that show real-time translation on glasses.

Although they are still just a prototype, Google has suggested that the glasses can show a live translation to the person wearing them.
Someone with augmented reality glasses could understand what the other person is saying just by reading the inscriptions displayed through the lenses while the other person is talking.
