Samsung’s Good Lock app, a popular customization tool for Galaxy devices, is now officially available on the Google Play Store, marking the start of its global rollout. Previously, Good Lock was limited to the Galaxy Store and select regions, but Samsung announced earlier this year that it would expand the app’s reach and make it accessible through the Play Store as well.

The redesigned Good Lock app can now be downloaded from the Play Store, but it remains exclusive to Samsung Galaxy devices. Non-Samsung phones are not supported. At launch, the Play Store lists the Galaxy S25 series as the only devices compatible for remote installation. However, some users have reported success installing the app directly on the Galaxy S24 Ultra running One UI 7, while others encountered issues with devices like the Galaxy Z Fold 6, even when running the required software.
Good Lock requires One UI 7 or higher, and Samsung has recently paused the rollout of One UI 7 to address unexpected bugs. This means that users with older Galaxy devices may need to wait until the update resumes before they can use the latest version of Good Lock.
The app itself offers a suite of modules that allow users to deeply customize various aspects of their device, including the lock screen, status bar, navigation bar, and more. Some of the main plugins include LockStar, ClockFace, NavStar, Home Up, QuickStar, and Wonderland, each providing unique ways to personalize the One UI experience
