Gmail for Android now lets you unsubscribe from emails in one place

Gmail is rolling out a handy new feature on its Android app called “Manage subscriptions.” It puts all your email subscriptions in one place, so you can easily see what you’re signed up for and unsubscribe with just a tap.

When you open the new section, you’ll see a list of senders you get regular emails from—like newsletters or promotional messages. Each entry shows the sender’s name, their email address, and how many messages you’ve gotten from them recently. If you decide you’re done with one of them, just tap “Unsubscribe.” In some cases, Gmail will take care of it right there in the app. Other times, you might be redirected to a website to finish the process.

Google says it might take a few days for the emails to actually stop, depending on the sender. The feature is starting to roll out gradually for Android users now. Support for iOS and web users is expected to come later.

It’s a small update, but it could make cleaning up your inbox a lot easier.
