According to the analytical company, global computer shipments fell 4.3 percent year-over-year during the first quarter of 2022. During the mentioned period, 78.7 million PC devices were delivered.
During January this year, the supply chain of PC devices and components had a better situation in the field of logistics and component shortages, compared to the second half of 2021.
Counterpoint Research predicts that during 2022, overall computer shipments will be better in the months ahead, while the situation will improve significantly by the end of the year.
When it comes to individual manufacturers, Lenovo has maintained its leading position with a market share of 23.1% with a small decline compared to 2021. In second place is HP (20.2%), while Dell is third.
