There has been a lot of new information lately about the future Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4. Thanks to the “Ice Universe” leaker, we heard yesterday that the new Fold 4 will be lighter and thinner than its predecessor and that it will unfortunately not have a dedicated S Pen slot.

But some other sources claim that Samsung will still include the S Pen in the product packaging. It looks like we’ll have to wait for the official launch to find out what the fate of the S Pen is in the Galaxy Z Fold 4 phone.

One of the main topics related to Fold 4 is cameras.

It seems that Fold 4 will bring serious improvements in the mentioned camera sector since its predecessor Fold 3 did not bring the best possible ones. The report comes from trusted advisor Dohyum Kim who believes the main folding phone’s cameras will be upgraded to a 108 MP sensor. Of course, the question immediately arises whether it will be the same camera as on the Galaxy S22 Ultra (1 / 2.55 ″ ISOCELL HM3 sensor).

This includes another advisor named @ chunvn8888, who says that the camera setting on the Z Fold 4 will be almost identical to the one on the aforementioned S22 Ultra.

The only difference is the absence of a 10 MP periscope sensor. That means we should get a 108 MP main sensor, a 12 MP wide-angle sensor, and a 12 MP 3x telephoto sensor.

Recent rumors also predict an upgrade of the camera selfie from 4 MP in Fold 3 to 10 MP in Fold 4 (probably again below the screen)

The Galaxy Z Fold 4 is also expected to arrive with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1+ chipset.
