Everyone already knows that Samsung has decided to pay more attention to the software part this year, and this can be best seen by the number of models that have already been updated to Android 12 and One UI 4.0, and some have already received One UI 4.1.

This is not only true for flagship models, but also for mid-range devices. So it was promised that the new Galaxy A33 and A53 will get as many as four major Android upgrades and will receive security upgrades for 5 years. But that is not the subject of this article.

Namely, the Samsung Galaxy A51 last month received an update for Android 12 in regions such as Russia, Vietnam, and the UAE, and now the device is receiving an update in Brazil as well.

As we said, the Samsung Galaxy A51 starts with an update to the One UI 4.1 based on Android 12. The update supports all unlocked and other operators in the region. The update number is A515FXXU5FVD2 and the size is over 2 GB. It comes with the latest security patch from April 2022 and has some bug fixes and improvements.

The update brings all the features of Android 12 and One UI 4.1 such as a privacy dashboard, an improved color palette for apps, and a fixed game optimization service (GOS).

Unfortunately, there is no information yet on when this update will be available globally, but since it is already available in several regions, a global variant is expected soon.

As for the device itself, the Samsung Galaxy A51 was launched in 2019 with Android 10 out of the box. It has a 6.5-inch SuperAMOLED screen and Exynos 9611 SoC. The smartphone comes with a 48 MP main camera and a 4000 mAh battery.
