One of the more significant questions, which has been asked since Elon Musk bought Twitter, is how the service could change under his leadership?
Now, the New York Times has reportedly come across the documentation of Musk’s proposal for investors, which offers some details about the new owner’s vision when it comes to the social network.
Musk wants to expand the number of monthly active users on Twitter, which now stands at about 217 million, to nearly 600 million in 2025 and 931 million by 2028. That’s more than four times the number of monthly users over the next six-year.
He also wants the service to have 104 million subscribers for a service marked “X.” It is unknown what “X” means and which product it could be, although Musk cryptically hinted at a Twitter experience that pays and will be without ads.
In addition, Musk suggested some ideas for increasing Twitter’s earnings and ways the network can achieve that. One of them is the increase in the number of users who subscribe. Fifty-nine million Twitter Blue users are projected by 2025 and 159 million by 2028.
It is unknown how Musk intends to achieve all the stated goals, and it is only known that the new owner expects big things from the network after the takeover is made official.
