Apple is working on a next-generation professional display, and the latest reports suggest that the company will present a panel with a resolution of 5K.
The new Apple Studio Display will reportedly replace the current Pro Display XDR or be added to the company’s existing display family. The current Apple Pro Display XDR has a 32-inch 6K panel, with 218 PPI.

The mentioned Apple Studio Display should also have a custom chipset, codenamed “J327”, and it is stated that it is a built-in Apple A13 chip.
9to5Mac points out that their sources claim that Apple Studio Display and J327 are the same model, which means that Apple is still working on an external display with an Apple Silicon chip.
