Apple shut down its online store in Russia

Allegedly, due to international sanctions imposed on Russia, it is not possible to use the Apple Pay option in that area

According to Apple World Today, this technology giant stopped selling its products on the Russian market on March 1. For example, customers in Russia can no longer buy Macs, iPhones, Apple smartwatches, and other products.

The Apple platform can still be opened from Russia and all products are available for viewing, but when you try to complete your purchase, the platform informs you that the product is not currently available.

According to the Moscow Times, the Russian media, apart from Apple and Nike, has stopped selling its products on the Russian market.

Other media claim that Ukrainian Minister Mykhailo Federov thanked Apple CEO Tim Cook for his quick reaction, and allegedly, due to international sanctions imposed on Russia, it is not possible to use the Apple Pay option in that area.
