Just in time to celebrate the tenth anniversary of the game, the original Angry Birds returns to the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. The original game was quietly withdrawn from mobile app stores during 2019.
Angry Birds is now back as a complete remaster, titled Rovio Classics: Angry Birds. The updated version of the game is a close clone of the original game, but instead of its own custom engine, it uses Unity.
Angry Birds on the App Store and Google Play stores cost $ 0.99. The original game was free, but it had in-app purchases. The new Angry Birds doesn’t have that, so “Mighty Eagle” and other accessories are available right away and you don’t have to buy them extra.
The game is available for download from the mentioned application stores, and to run it requires an Android 6.0 or newer version, or iOS 13 or newer.
