3rd generation iPhone SE will be launched in 2022 and will feature a 4.7-inch display as the current version, according to popular display analyst Ross Young.
The current iPhone SE is modeled after iPhone 8 with the same 4.7-inch display. Earlier this year, it was rumored that Apple is working on an iPhone SE Plus with a larger size screen, which could come out later this year. But, earlier this month, one of the most famous Apple analysts, Ming-Chi Kuo, said that there will no be a new iPhone SE until 2022.

In 2022 we could see a minor refresh in design but radical design change is coming in 2023, while in 2021 there will no be a new model in a special edition.

Since Apple is working on a 6.1-inch version of the iPhone SE that will have a punch design rather than a notch. Apple is also rumored to have the hole-punch display in 2022 flagship models but also in iPhone SE 4th generation.
